Question: I recently had a serum protein electrophoresis repeated with the same results as two years ago. It talks about a suspicious restriction, what could cause this restriction? I have been diagnosed with Lyme, but worry about Multiple Myloema or amyladosis.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
There are levels of immunoglobulin like IgM and IgG which are important for diagnosis of multiple myeloma.
Please let me know the detailed reports . Then it will be possible to comment on any particular disease. Just on basis of restriction, it is quite difficult to comment upon.
You can upload your reports.
Looking forward for your response.
Thanking you.
