Inperson CBT is best.

Considering severity of your symptoms combined treatment in form cognitive behavior therapy and drug therapy will be best in your case. These treatment take 4-6 week to show improvement on regular compliance. Your treatment duration will depend on treatment response. But at least 9 months treatment is needed.

Although there is many online forum for CBT on net, but in-person CBT is best. Medicines will not affect your studies, in fact these medicines will improve your academic performance by decreasing symptoms and distress. There is no need for rest and treatment can be continue with routine life.

Brief Answer:
hi

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Usually person should loose 2-3 kg in a month. Fast weight loss may add stress but it will not cause your problem alone, it may increase severity of your problem, as you was having problem for long time.

In exercise aerobic exercise like brisk walk, dancing and jogging will be helpful. In diet avoid excessive sweet, fat and junk food. Include high fiber diet like fruits and salad in meals.

If your family members are not agree with medical treatment, you can start with CBT, or you can use our conversation to convince them.

Wish you good health and future.
