Thanks for writing in,

Acne problem is very common among young men or women. Acne is a chronic condition needing strict life style changes for better control of this problem.

Your friend needs to observe these points for better control:
- Change of life style,
- Change of food habit, take less fried, oily and junk food.
- Avoid stress,
- Take good 6-8 hours sleep.
- Wash face not more than twice a day with mild cleanser liquid or bar.
- Retinol - a vitamin A derivative which promotes peeling of skin can be used.
- Use toner to wipe off the oil.
- Use light skin moisturizer and water base cosmetics.

For treatment of acne affected skin, the following can be useful
- Wash face with cleanser like Benzyl peroxide or pro active lotion,
- Apply gel of Benzyl peroxide,
- At night use Sulfur cream.

If acne is infected then she can go for antibiotic orally and local application of antibiotic cream after consultation with your doctor.

Hope I have provided you with useful information to solve your friend's problem. If you have further query or clarification, please do not hesitate, I will be happy to help.
