Reddish mucus in stool. No blood. Medication?

Very small amount red tinged mucous abou 20 min after passing stool no blood in stool.

At age of 60 if you are passing red tinged mucous per-rectally you should undergo a sigmoidoscopic examination. A sigmoidscopy should resolve the cause of this problem and according the treatment can be suggested by your gastroenterologist. If blood had been mixed with stools then a full length colonoscopy would have been needed.
