Question: I GOT CHEST X-RAY REPORT FOR MY SON WHO IS 5 YEARS OLD WITH IMPRESSION :
"PROMINENT BILATERAL VASCULAR MARKINGS"
PLEASE ADVISE WHAT DOES IT MEAN & WHEATHER IT IS DANGUROUS OR NOT

1. Prominent broncho-vascular markings on chest xray is suggestive of acute bronchitis.

2. Normally it is to be interpreted with clinical correlation and in most of the cases the symptoms subside in a short period of time with medications.
