Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in the eyebrow with tenderness is likely to be due to-
1. Chronic frontal sinusitis- this is the most likely cause and can be ruled out after an examination by an ENT specialist.
2. Migraine headache- sometimes it is localized around one eye.
3. Eye strain, weak eye sight, dry eyes, etc.
4. Inflammation of trochlea or periorbital muscles.
All these causes need to be ruled out after a proper examination and necessary investigations. You can consult an ENT specialist or an ophthalmologist for the needful.
Hope this answers your query. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Rakhi Tayal.
