I think I am having obsessive disorder..on internet porn. I have tried my best to stay away from it many times. But then every time the urge to go back comes with greater force. I think it is high time to get proper medical help.
My background...I work for an MNC. I have a great reputation both professionally and personally. God has gifted me with many other skills like painting, writing, playing music, etc etc. I have lot of friends too. But the dark side of me is not known to anyone. I am a widower since last 6 months.
I know that I have to divert my time to what i am passionate about. But somehow the compulsive urge does not allow me. I end up wasting my lot of time on net, trying to chat with someone, or watch porn.
After I waste my time on these, I end up having lot of guilt feeling. Though I vow not to do that again, I end up doing that same things next day.
A lot of my time, which i could have used to nurture my other skills is going waste. On top of that, these thoughts and an unwanted sexual urge attacks my mind even when I am in office. I am a person who is enjoying enormous reputation as a 'good person" not only in office and in personal life too. I do not want that to be sabotaged by these disorder, which i really want to fight..but I am not able to.
I don't have any other problems. I do not smoke or drink . Apart from the problem mentioned, I have a healthy lifestyle.
having tried my own ways..and failed miserably..I thought it is high time to seek professional help. Hence I am here. As i feel but awkward in facing a doctor, i am seeking help here. But if you suggest I should go and XXXXXXX someone, please do suggest someone in the city. I am from bangalore.
