i have had small white lines under the head od my penis for 3 years i wanted to see a dermotologist but we only have 1 in our area and its ver hard to get in. basucakky that little ligament looking peice of skin that connects the foreskin to the head of the peinis has small while lines on either side of it. there are also white blotches that appeared about 6 months ago. in addition to one white spot in the opening at the tip of my penis at the very top. i have been tested for stds and they continuosly come back negative. but it seems much unprotected sex with my partner causes a yeast infection. i dont know what this is. ive been with the same girl for 3 years we havent used a condom in 2 years and she has never gotten anything like this. just a yeast infection if we have too much sex in a short time. im quite concerned... is there anything that it could be? the white areas apear to grow when wet and shrink when dry when swolen the tissue can be picked away fairly easily but there is still white material XXXXXXX in the skin. it doesnt hurt or itch theres no sores or discharge. any thoughts. and is there any (non) perscription medications i can try to try and narrow down the possibilities. ive been using canastin for a week now and nothings changed...

Thank you for the query.

According to attached photograph there is nothing you should worry about. This white lines are quite common thing in the area of the frenulum. As you know, penis can get bigger in a short time and can also become smaller as well. This size changing ability needs some skin reserves especially in this particular area, where the top of the penis is connected with the rest. In this area (frenulum) there are nerves accumulated which are responsible for sexual experiences.
So this white lines are nothing more than skin able to stretch.
Small spots can also appear here and there and as long as this lesions does not grow, there is no itching, burning while urinating or pain, there is nothing you should worry about.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.

I would be inclined to agree. But what about the roughness you them? They are like a rough patch of skin. And these spots get bigger and have spread if washing doesn't take place often.

Such roughness can be due to dry skin (due to often very often intercourses for example) or mild fungal infection indeed. However fungal infection would give severe skin roughness. You may try fluconazole (Canastin is fine) cream along with hydrocortisone cream. Just note that such treatment can take even a month to give an effect.

Hope this will help.
