Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
From the description of your father’s symptoms, it looks like he is suffering from ascending or descending paresthesias or nerve pains. In most people, symptoms like these which are vague and non-localizing sensory do not have specific cause. Rarely cervical spondylosis, nutritional problems like hypothyroidism, multiple sclerosis and depression can cause similar symptoms.
If the above conditions have been considered and excluded in your father, then regular follow up and consultation with psychiatrist and clinical psychologist would be of benefit. If you’re not sure if they have been excluded, please upload his investigations using the “Upload your reports” section on the right.
Let me know if I have missed out any other concern in your question.

Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that you have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,

Hello

Thanks for the query

I personally feel your father is likely to benefit from regular counseling from clinical psychologist and continuation of medications from the psychiatrist. A good careful physical and Neurological examination would exclude associated or underlying Neuraxis involvement.

A couple of XXXXXXX and experienced Neurologist are available in Hyderabad and XXXXXXX one near your place for a second and expert opinion.

I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow ups.

Wish you good health.
