Question: My daughter is 17 years old and have been taking phenergan 25 mg every 6 hours around the clock for constant nausea for months she has had every thing gastro ruled out with a boatload of tests however when she was around 6 it was discovered she has a mass on her brain that was considered to be spinal fluid can this be the cause of her constant nausea and now having sharp pains in her head for the past few days the pain in her head is sharp pain lasting a few seconds but returning consistently

The vomiting centre is located in area postrema of brain, which is in the brainstem at the back of brain. Any compression to this region due to spinal fluid or any other reason can cause nausea, vomiting or headaches.
