Brief Answer:
No complications when mother is Rh '+'

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

The possible blood groups that your child can have is blood groups 'A' or 'O'.
The Rh factor can be either '+' or '-'.
If the baby is Rh factor '+' i.e. same as your wife, no complications will arise.
If the Rh factor of baby turns out to be '-', then also no problem will arise.
Problem arises when mother is Rh '-' and baby is Rh '+'.
In the latter case Anti D antibody needs to be taken.
So, you need not worry.

Thanks and take care

Brief Answer:
Wife elder-no effect, maternal age <30 ideal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
The age of your wife 6 months elder to you will not have any impact on health of baby.
Maternal age at the time of first pregnancy should be preferably below 30 years.
As age increases the rate of complications increase and pregnancy should be monitored regularly with antenatal chesk ups and ultrasonography.

Thanks and take care
