Question: mY LIMPHOCITES 9.7 DO I NEED TO START ANY TREATMENT( THEY CHANGED IN 3YEARES FROM 5.9) i am 64 years of age.

Lymphocytes play a major role in defense system and help in protecting the body against infection.The normal range is 4000-0000/mm3.

Silght variation in the count in the absence of any features can be ignored and does not make much difference.

It may be indicative of either decreased immunity or slight infection.

Some measures:

1)Have a healthy nutritious diet comprising lots of fruits and vegetables in the diet.

2)Do some form of exercise daily.

3)Have 1 to 2 cups of XXXXXXX tea daily.

4)Include a Multivitamin Zinc containing capsule daily.

5)Have more of yoghurt in the diet.
