Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Your husband has ALT and ALK PHOS elevated as well as bilirubin slightly elevated. Such results can be caused by alcohol abuse, medicine overuse, gallstones, liver viral inflammation, liver tumors. It is advisable for your husband to have some more diagnostics. He should start with simple abdominal ultrasound. It will tell either there are any gallstones or not and if the bile ducts are widen or not. Moreover it can visualize any liver lesions. If no findings in this test, amylase and GGTP, viral enzymes antibodies should be checked.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
