Itching And Uneasiness In Ear If Not Cleaned Daily. Will This Affect Ears?
Question: Hi,
I feel a lot of itching and uneasyness in my ear if i dont clean it with an earbud daily. I feel it is more psychological than need to do so.
I am scared that it should effect my ears. Let me know if I need to no any actions to stop this habit or is it ok to continue.

Such symptoms can be due to wax,allergies or focal infections.
Few medications you can try are -
•acidifying agents (hydrochloric acid, salicylic acid,boric acid, sulfuric acid, and citric acid solutions. ),
•antiseptics (m-cresyl acetate, thimerosal, and thymol.)
•anti-inflammatory agents, (Acetasol HC, Vosol HC)
•and antibiotics. (Cortisporin Otic Suspension ,Tobradex, Cipro HC Otic).
