Hello,

These symptoms might go on for a little while longer because there is still some increased mucus in your sinuses. As air passes, it makes noise.

You can try a steroid nasal spray such as Flonase, which is sold over the counter. Steroid nasal sprays help to decrease inflammation of the nasal and sinus lining. It may take a couple of days for it to start to work well.

Also try saline sinus washes. You can either use a nettipot with saline (prepare your self or buy packets such as NeilMed makes), or, a little more expensive but convenient, you can get a pump spray such as Simply Saline. Stand over the bathroom sink, tip your head to the right, spray the saline into the left nostril for several seconds until you feel fullness in your sinuses, and the saline runs out of the right nostril. Then repeat, tipping head to the left, and spraying saline into the right nostril. Don't blow hard afterwards as it can back fluid up your eustachian tubes.

Also, don't do the sinus washes and Flonase at the same time. Wait, maybe an hour between them.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information.
