Brief Answer:
Bleeding will continue if fibroids are not removed

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns about bleeding because of fibroids.

Following is my reply:

1. It is necessary to remove fibroids.

2. Chances of fibroids becoming cancer are extremely rare. But she will continue to bleed.

3. If she has completed family, it is better to remove uterus ( Procedure is called Hysterectomy).

If she wishes to retain uterus then you can opt for removal of fibroids only ( procedure is called myomectomy)

I hope your doubt is clarified. Let me know if you wish any other information.

Dr. Soumya
