default
Posted on Wed, 26 Nov 2014
Question: i am going to vienna within 2 weeks. i want to go to sex studios allowing sex without condom. if i saw the certificate that the prostitute is HIV nigative last test, and no ao sex after, can i do unprotected sex with her or still risky????if i want to take some drug to protect me during this first exposure , what can i take??or better avoid this unprotected sex??

If the prostitute is HIV nigative, how still the chance of transmitting HIV if she did not do sex since this last test?? how long the incubation period during which she still be infective??

I heard aboud drugs called PrEP that are used by prostitutes to decrease HIV incidence with unprotected sex, does it have a role with me?? can the generics be good?

Brief Answer:
Please, I strongly discourage against this!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about your strong desire to have unprotected sex. An HIV test certificate represents the past and has nothing to say about the future. After the test, I am unable to tell whether you are positive or negative because the test cannot say anything about that.

Did I hear you say prostitute? So do you mean she has suspended sex waiting just on you? Please, this is a high risk group and having unprotected sex should not even be an option here. No one takes drugs knowing he is going to be expose to a disease that has no cure as of date. This is totally not the right way to go.

In all, i encourage protected sex if you must have sex with a prostitute. There is nothing like basing arguments on an HIV certificate. It says nothing about the period after the blood was collected. And if a method of serology is used and not PCR, security interval of 3months without exposure is recommended.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
PLease, protection before pleasure!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Am sorry but no doctor encourages a patient to undertake great risk and recommends protective measures. I will not do that. It sounds hard on you but this is in your best interest. I will not let a colleague to do so.

Protection before pleasure. If you fail to protect yourself, your health may be ruined that you can no longer do what you long to do. Be careful.

Please, if you must have sex with a prostitute, correct condom use has to be a MUST use tool.

I hope this helps. I wish you well.

Please this is my last question about no condom. If the prostitute has nigative HIV-PCR at the same day and she did not do unprotected sex after that result, how much still the risk that she is infective??

doctor
Answered by Dr. Chobufo Ditah (2 hours later)
Brief Answer:
She would not be infective!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

With a PCR On the same day that shows negative, then she is clean and there is no risk that she would get HIV to you. However, have you thought about hepatitis B and C, syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia........? There is more than just HIV to worry about to accept unprotected intercourse with a prostitute.

I have provided the necessary information. The decision to go on or not depends on you. I wish you well and encourage you to take care of yourself before we take care of you later.

All the best!

I did not find words to thank you about these honest answers. many many thanks to you. So i will not touch any prostitute except with condom. Howevere, my last question about oral sex without condom, if the girl does not have any sores or ulcers in her mouth, and is ELISA test nigative , could she be infective for STDs???

Answered by Dr. Chobufo Ditah (6 hours later)
Brief Answer:
No active mouth sores, not infectious!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Happy to know you would not attempt vaginal sex without condom! Good and happy for you as well.

If she has no active sores with a negative, then she is not infectious for oral herpes which s the most commonly feared.

I WISH YOU WELL. TAKE CARE.

many thanks for all your keen answers. could i ask about oral or lip kissing is it risky fo any thing despite the fact that these girls are examined by check-up every week.Again oral blowjop, can it be infective for herpes even with absence of clinical manifestations of the disease and weekly check-up??
doctor
Answered by Dr. Chobufo Ditah (2 hours later)
Brief Answer:
You are not sick until you become!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Frequent examinations are just a way of minimizing risk and not eliminating it. You should take control into your hands and not depend on others. With all the weekly check ups, the risk of getting an infection would be minimal but not zero. p to you

It is you. Take full control or play a game of chance with a risk.

I wish you well.
