Question: Hello doctor,

i have typhoid on last month 17th sep i am cured now my son 3 years old have drank the water today Oct.18th does it would effect my son

by ill or asymptomatic chronic carriers.What is the source of drinking water your son had .
The incubation period for S. typhi averages 10–14 days but ranges
from 5 to 21 days, depending on the inoculum size and the host’s
health and immune status.
Whether he will develop typhoid fever from drinking contaminated water- would be evident after the incubation period -maximum 3 weeks.
