Is Typhoid Fever Contagious?
Question: Hi Doctor,
I am XXXX My age is 35 years , Iâm suffering from typhoid initial stage since Monday (9th of oct ).
I have consulted the local medicine specialist and she has suggested to take AUGMENTIN 625 and BIFILAC twice a day and DOLO 650 in case of fever.
Problems what I am facing now are:
1) In night am having fever more than 100 °F with body pain and headache.
2) Moring time no fever, body pain or headache.
3) Red color rashes all over my body but not so much itching.
Please suggest if:
1)anything more needs to be taken care of.
2)is it contagious and can I share bed with my 17 months baby or I need to avoid going near to my baby.

Drink plenty of fluids at least 4-5 liters per day.
You can take Tab dolo 650 thrice daily.
Do you have any joint pain,giddiness?
Staying out of baby is better.

You don't require anything for rashes, they disappear by themselves.
If you are really worried then apply cetaphil moisturiser.
