Brief Answer:
Possibility

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for sending the question.

There are multiple possible reasons why the prostate-specific antigen level may fluctuate including enlargement of the prostate, prostate, and urinary infection, urinary retention, very large hemorrhoids, rectal stimulation and sexual activity.

As you already may know there are several different possibilities why the prostate-specific antigen level may fluctuate.

If your prostate-specific antigen level is fluctuating I would discuss this with your doctor. Sometimes a biopsy might be indicated.

Thank you, again for sending her question. It has been a pleasure. Please let me know if you have any additional specific concerns.
