Question: I am asthmatic and use 220 mcgs of Asmanex 2x daily. I am noticing the effects of prednaszone or however it's spelled. My face is becoming quite filled out from normal. Is there an asthma med that doesn't contain prednazone?

Brief Answer:
Asmanex is having mometasone.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Asmanex is having mometasone.
Mometasone is inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Prednisone is oral steroid.
Inhaled corticosteroid are much more safer than oral steroid and ICS are treatment of choice for asthma. On long term use ICS are having very very less side effects as compare to oral steroid.
So better to consult your doctor before stopping asmanex.
And long acting beta 2 agonist (LABA), short acting beta 2 agonist (SABA) are available in the market. They are devoid of steroids. Since these are prescribed medicines, you need doctor 's prescription for them.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
