Question: My girlfriend is 23 yrs old 105 lbs she had ovary cysts and had to get them surgically removed because they ruptured. After the surgery the came back then disappeared and her ovaries are have been inflamed causing pain she lives in Romania the doctors here say to take birth control pills till she's ready to have a baby. I was wondering if there are a permanent better solution for preventing ovary cysts and also if there are bad effects on her body from taking birth control pills for many years such as not being able to get pregnant again.

Brief Answer:
needs pill intake for sure

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir, thanks for trusting health care magic
Yes the doctors are absolutely right in prescribing her birth control pills.
It is an effective and easy method and can be left once she wants to plan her family.
There are certain common but subtle side effects like nausea, breast tenderness and mood swings which are easily tolerated.
In some patients it can cause liver disorder, increased blood pressure and increased blood sugar levels.
These serious effects are less common but serious and thus yearly follow up is very important with her doctor.
It has no long term adverse effect of future chances of conception.
And best part us that after using pills for a couple of months chances of cyst formation decreases to minimal even after stopping the drug.
All the best to her.
