Dear Sir,
I visited Specialist in Medicine on 10.11.2015 and he prescribed following medicines for me i.e. Glyciphage 500 mg., hopace 5mg, ecospirin 75, tenepure 20 and Diavit Plus. I just start this Diavit. To get rid of diabetes I am confused. Is it the life long exercise to take these medicines. In fact doctors never suggest on this matter. Kindly advise.
Regards,

Brief Answer:
Follow medications prescribed by your physician

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, please avoid taking anything with out consulting doctors. you please carry on with the medications prescribed by your doctor. Yes the medications may go for life and may be changed according to the glucose control. The ones that the doctor prescribed were standard for diabetics, keep in touch with him to assess the control. Along with these medicines lifestyle must change and should be life long. Walk at least for an hour a day, take more of protein rich food, green leafy vegetables and fruits . Take millets, they are rich in minerals, oats rich in fibers helps to keep the glucose in check. practice yoga and pranayama , meditation to avoid stress listen music. thanks .
