Brief Answer:
Precautions advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your anxiety about the issue.
You need to take a lot of care in the form of good diet control, proper sugar monitoring and dose adjustment along with regular ultrasound and antenatal visits.
As regards as problems during delivery are concerned they are usually seen in women with poor glycemic control and this excessive baby weight leading to cesarean delivery.
Baby can also have low sugars after delivery which needs good care and of course early feeding.
Take care

Dr Manisha

Brief Answer:
7 point sugar monitoring advised

Detailed Answer:
The dose is fine in my opinion but random sugar has no value in general.
Do seven point sugar by doing fasting levels and three pre meals and three post meals. The dosage can be adjusted according to those readings. You can tell me the reading of full day and we will decide further.
Don't take this all lightly as it has a profound effect on baby.
