I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that your having hoarseness of voice. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any cough or wheezing ?
Is your change of voice associated with any difficulty in swallowing ?

Kindly get back to me with the details.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be smoker's bronchitis or laryngitis or voice box growth.

As such, smoking is a commanest cause for cancer. Smokers for a prolonged periods of smoking habit should be evaluated.

I suggest you to to consult ent surgeon and get laryngoscopy and x-ray chest. depending on the examination reports further treatment is required accordingly.

Mean time, stop smoking, do steam inhalation.
