Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
First, the cancer of prostate is not always hereditary. Only very rarely is it hereditary.
Second , it is usually treatable unless detected very late and if it has spread.
Finally, hard prostate need not be cancer. Even infections can cause this. There is also a condition called as BPH. So relax. Let the biopsy report come.
Can you tell us the PSA levels?
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal

I went to the urologist to renew my testosterone shot therapy. I had to have an exam. my blood test showed testosterone level at 945. Absolutly no problems urinating. sleep all night. The suspended my testo shots until biopsy. Scared to death of the results. There were no signs of a problem until the exam

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Your PSA is not high.
In cancer patients, PSA is usually more than 10.
So as I said before, just relax and wait for biopsy reports.
I have assumed that you have notreceived any prostate surgery before.
Best of luck.
