Brief Answer:
Delay in periods is due to hormonal disturbance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
While having sex since you used a withdrawal method and took I-pill immediately after, the pregnancy is very unlikely. Having periods after 10 days further rules out the pregnancy completely.
The delay in periods that you have now is likely to be due to a hormonal disturbance. This can be due to polycystic ovaries also which needs to be ruled out after an ultrasound scan and a few blood tests under the guidance of your gynecologist.
You can do a pregnancy test now for the peace of your mind and then consult a gynecologist to get hormonal tablets prescribed for a withdrawal bleeding.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Doctor

Thank you for your reply and suggestion.

I will do pregnancy test and confirm to you. I don't have any symptoms of a pregnancy like vomiting, fever or any other issue.

I have been having cold and cough for which i am taking normal medicines.

Yes i got my periods after 10 days after taking the I-pill but i got period just for a day.

I think after taking I-pill my hormonal disturbance is increased more.

doctor what medicine you recommend for withdrawal bleeding? and how to take this?

kindly suggest.

Brief Answer:
Norethisterone is used.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
For withdrawal bleeding, you can take norethisterone 5mg ( Primolut-N or Gynaset) thrice a day for 5 days. After stopping the tablet you will get a withdrawal bleeding in 3-4 days. Do a pregnancy test before starting with these tablets.
Hope my answer is helpful.
Do accept my answer in case there are no further queries.

Hi Doctor

I have taken the tablet and now i getting white discharge a lot and also my vagina is very itchy is it common to get white discharge after taking this tablet

please advice
doctor
Answered by Dr. Dr. Rakhi Tayal (59 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Due to vaginal infection.

Detailed Answer:
The white discharge and itching is not related to this tablet. This is suggestive of a vaginal infection- can be a fungal infection. You need proper antifungal tablets and vaginal pessary to control it after an examination.

Brief Answer:
vaginal pessary can help.

Detailed Answer:
This can be treated with antifungal angents like miconazole. You can use a vaginal pessary like Gyno Daktarin or Clingen forte once a day for 2 weeks. Please follow the instructions on the package carefully.
It is also important to keep your private parts scrupulously clean. Trimming your pubic hair, not using any soap to wash your vagina and keeping the area clean and dry will help.

Brief Answer:
You need oral antibiotics to treat white discharge.

Detailed Answer:
The persistent white discharge suggests vaginal yeast infection. You need oral antibiotics and antifungal agents for proper treatment. It is best to consult your gynecologist who after an examination can prescribe you proper antibiotics.
You have attached image of syrup Dexorange. It helps in increasing the iron levels and helps in anaemia.
It can help to some extent in irregular periods but it is better to take a hormonal treatment to get proper regular periods. The hormonal imbalance needs to be corrected.

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Metronidazole or same categorical drug (like Tinidazole/ secnidazole) is the treatment of choice to cure leucorrhea. It can be taken as 2 gm single dose. In mixed vaginal infection, AFS kit (combination of Azithromycin, Fluconazole & Secnidazole) is quite effective. Local application of 2% clindamycin gel is also helpful. In such cases, your sexual partner also needs complete course of treatment. Oral itraconazole will also help in decreasing the white discharge. Your gynecologist can suggest the best medicine for you after a direct examination regarding the type of white discharge.
To regularise the periods you can start with oral contraceptive pills like XXXXXXX or Ovral-l and take it for 3 cycles. Taking I-pill or excessive stress and anxiety can cause such a problem.
Regards.
