Is Pregnancy Possible Through Sexual Intercourse Within 24 Hours Of Ovulation?

Question: Dr,Hi I am 32 I was having two egg measuring 18 mm and 24 mm and taken an trigger (HCG)injection at 1.00PM that day we dont have sex on that day and second day sonogrophy was done at 11.00 AM and it was found that 18MM had been ruptured and 24 mm had become 28 MM and not rupture after taking sonography we had sex at 6.oo PM evening (the day on which sonongraphy had taken) please let me know what is the chances for pregnancy.

Have you gone for follicular study earlier ?YES
Since how long are you trying to conceive ?Last 5 year(since suffering from PCOD and started treatment for last 4 months)
Are your periods regular ?NO

After taking HCG injection how much time it takes the egg for rupture.Can egg rupture with in 3 to 4 hours or more time is taken for the same.

Doctor has advised today to have sex today and tomorrow also whether I shall go ahead for sex today and tommorrow also or I should assumed that the pregnancy may have occured yesterday only and there is no requirement for sex today and tommorrow as i have hear the sperm count and volume become low when u do sex regularly and it may hamper the pregnancy.

When we should check about the pregnancy had been happened or not or taking sonography again today we they will be able tell that the pregnancy has occured.

Yes, remain sexually active for 2 - 3 days.

Hello again.
Thank you for the updates.
After taking HCG injection, the egg ruptures within 36 hours , anytime.
Yes, please remain sexually active for 2 - 3 days more.
That will increase chances of conception.
You cannot check for pregnancy so soon.
You will have to take a urine pregnancy test after 15 days to confirm pregnancy.
If 3 cycles of follicular monitoring fail, then please go for laparoscopy to check fallopian tube status.
