Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Oral Contraceptive?

Question: hi doctor i had unprotected sex with my girl friend on morning of 2nd of january. she took ipills on the same day evening around 4 o clock . Her period started on 24 of december . I think it ended by 31 st of december . Will she become pregnant ? Please help me with the answer

Hello sir, I understand your anxiety.
There are negligible chances of pregnancy because
- she took ipill immediately within desired time
- there is no ovulation around that time usually.
So just relax and wait for her periods to come.

"There are negligible chances of pregnancy" . and around what date should she expect her next period to start ?

almost nil chances

Detailed Answer:
In case she has regular periods then she should expect her next periods around 24th of January.
By negligible chances I meant that if she ovulates at regular time then there are nil chances but there is always a possibility of early ovulation in all females then there can be pregnancy (very less incidence in females with regular periods).
But that meagre possibility further decreased by the intake of ipill so negligible chances of pregnancy.
