Brief Answer:
Pregnancy is not possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.

Since you have taken the emergency pill soon after the intercourse, you are very well protected. Moreover, you may not have ovulated yet if you happen to have 28-30 day cycles.

The pill contains high doses of progesterone and this causes withdrawal bleeding. This is the most likely cause of the spotting you are experiencing now.

Hope your query has been clarified. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Brief Answer:
Ten days at the earliest.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing back.

You can test for serum beta-hCG titres as early as ten days after the intercourse. If you wish to go for the urine test, you have to wait until 3-7 days after the missed period.

Hope this helps. Please get back if you need anything else. I will be ready to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
