Brief Answer:
Low chance of pregnancy. Do pregnancy test.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) I-pill gives more than 95% protection against unwanted pregnancy if taken within 24 hrs. In this case, her chance of pregnancy is quite LOW, but, she needs to confirm it.

2) Bleeding on 16th April (D24 as per last period date) may be due to effect of I-pill. However, I suggest her to undergo one home pregnancy to clear doubt. Review with test result for next management.

Hope, I have answered your query. Practice safe sex in future. Good luck.

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy should be ruled out. Take suggestive pain killer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Thanks for follow up query.

1) At first, she needs to undergo one home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. Depending on test result, one pelvic or Trans Vaginal ultrasound is required to know the nature of pregnancy (On POSITIVE test) and underlying pelvic pathology.

2) Until then, I can suggest her to take DROTIN-DS (Drotaverine) twice in a day to reduce abdominal pain. Tab Ranitidine (150 mg) should be added.

Take easily digestible food and drink more water. You need to consult with local doctor or gynecologist if abdominal pain and swelling continue in spite of taking those medicine. Review with test reports for next management.

Hope, it helps for your information.
Good luck and take care.

Sir, we have done the test and its having a negative result. Bt still she is having a severe pain in abdomen and swelling over the area. 8 years back she was treated for Ewing's sarcoma. But now she is not asked to take any medicine and she is perfectly fine. Will the medicine you prescribed as painkiller will effect her health because of her past medical records.

Brief Answer:
Do one ultrasound scan. Take those medicines

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Welcome back again.

I suggest her to undergo one pelvic ultrasound scan to check for pelvic pathology if any like ovarian cyst or endometriosis etc. Review with test report.

Until then, she can take above said medication for abdominal pain. There will be NO health effect or health problem, regarding past medical record.

Hope, it helps for you information. Wish her good health and quick recovery.
