Question: Hello Doctor,

My wife is two day away from ovulation as her next menstrual date is on 11th May. We had unprotected sex today, what are the chances of her getting pregnant?

As she is likely to ovulate in next 2 days as per ovulation kit then if you have had sex, considering that the sperms can be alive for next 72 in the vaginal tract, so chances of conception universally are still 30-35%.

Hello,
Well if you are not planning pregnancy , then you can opt for Ipill within next 72 hrs of intercourse. It has no effect on liver and can be safely taken. You should expect a withdrawal bleed in next 7-10 days of taking ipill, which shall rule out any chances of pregnancy.
