Brief Answer:
Might be due to iron deficiency anemia but need to be confirmed

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.
I have gone through your query.

I suggest you not to worry much. Addiction, in any form is bad for health. Understanding about addiction is the key. For you, chewing ice cube is not an addiction, but simply an obsession. In addiction, body and mind are involved. In obsession, mostly mind is involved. To remove obsession, you need to kepp yourself engaged in activities which don't need your obsession.

Craving and chewing ice is often associated with iron deficiency anemia, although the reason is unclear. I would suggest you get complete blood picture along with peripheral smear. It will help in knowing whether you have anaemia or not and based on the report we can decide on the need of iron supplements.

This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.

I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you. Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Take care.
