Is Laser Treatment Effective For Spinal Stenosis?

Question: My husbands needs a Neurologist the can relieve spinal stenosis . Hopefully a permanent solution. Does Laser work?If there is a surgery for the stenosis that is better than non invasive laser...what is it?

I have noted your husband's symptoms and diagnosis.

In my opinion, surgery would be preferred. This is because decompression surgery would be able to relieve pressure from the spinal cord and nerves better.

Laser should be done only if surgery is contraindicated or it can not be done. Laser works if the pressure on the nerve is minimal or mild.
