Question: I am so sorry I haven't answered you before.

I still have the itchy feeling all over, but am wondering if this could be a sign of being a diabetic.

#1 This has started about a month or so ago.

#2 I am not sure if anything in particular has started this. it doesn't start after going to bed. It would be during the day n night.

#3 I have never had this happen to me before.

#4 I do not have any other illness, but I have been told about a year ago that I am a border line diabetic.

#5 I was on medicine for a bladder infection when the sympotms were really bad. They are not near as bad now.

Brief Answer:
Most probably allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers. I have gone through them. Features you mentioned are suggestive of allergic reaction. It can be due to a number of causes like insect bite, dust, food, etc. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:

- cetirizine one at night for 5 days
- wash/change bedding thoroughly.
- avoid scratching the area else it might leave scar.

Hopefully you will see improvement in 2-3 days BUT if conditions remains same or aggravates then you need to visit hospital for further workup.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
