Septilin may be safely used in renal transplant patients, to reduce the incidence of respiratory infections. It has immunopotentiating, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Hence, the reduction in opportunistic upper respiratory tract infections. The dosage is 5 ml, thrice daily, for 6 weeks.
