Is It Possible To Get Pregnant Despite Taking I Pill Within 24 Hours Of Intercourse?
My periods go finished on 29th Aug. That was the day it got cleared. On 3rd Sep, I met my bf. We did a lot of foreplay and he inserted in me 3 times with just 1-2 strokes every time and pulled out. Still being safer, I took two iPills within an hour of the act. After that, he didn't insert in me again but used his finger only.
1) After using two iPills in one hour of the act(though we are 99% sure, he didn't finish in me) , what are my chances of getting pregantn?
2) I used two pills. I know it's not required to use two but being worried, I used two. does that effect in the working of the pills?
3) How do I know that the pill worked? It's 4th Sep only today. What can I do to confirm that the pill has worked? Shall I get a blood test done?
Please help, really worried!
Almost nil chances of pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. The i pill should be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse, and the two pills should be taken 12 hours apart.
1. The chances of pregnancy are very low as there was no ejaculation inside the vagina, and you have taken i pill within one hour.
2. No, using two pills do effect in the working of pills.
3. The effectivenss of the pill cannot be detected so early, either by blood or urine test. You have to wait for your periods and then do the pregnancy test, if they are delayed.
I suggest you not to worry, as chances of pregnancy are almost nil in your case.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

Few questions, please bear with me.
1) I didn't understand what you meant by 2 pills to be used? I took two pills together, does that make the pills ineffective or more effective ?
2) Wasn't it my safe period as I had finished periods on 29th Aug only?
I am just more worried after reading the reply. PLease help!

2) How can I check if the pills worked? I am feeling no effect still on my body. Don't I get bleeding or something cos of pills taken?
Spotting or bleeding occurs within 7-10 days
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, yes you can take the 3rd pill for being doubly sure.
The bleeding or spotting due to i pill occurs within 7-10 days of taking the pill, so you should wait for one week.

1) Does taking 3 pills have any side effects like too much bleeding or anything else that I need to be worried about?
2) What is "withdrawal bleeding" due to iPill? I have read about it just now and I would appreciate if you can explain to me.
Detailed answer below
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear.
1. Taking three pills can have side effect of prolonged spotting or delaying the next expected periods by 2-3 weeks.
2. Withdrawal bleeding due to I pill is the bleeding that occurs after the intake of I pill due to hormonal changes caused by the I pill which prevents the pregnancy to occur.
