Question: A friend of mine recently suffered heart failure and a pacer/defibrillator was placed. Her EF at that time was 30. She is now in cardiac rehab and her EF remains at 30. Is it possible her EF May not improve? I know it takes time to see results, other factors come into play and everyone is different. What can she expect

Brief Answer:
There are good chances that his EF will improve

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Actually it is individual.
But if he follows healthy lifestyle and takes medications regularly, there are good chances that his EF will improve.
Even if his EF is not improved, there are chances he will be doing quite well in this case.
There are many patients with low EF, who follow healthy lifestyle and take medication regularly, that have quite good life quality and almost no heart failure.

Hope I could help you

Wishing a good health to your friend
