Is It Normal To Have Polygamous Attitude In A Married Male?
Question: Dear Doctor,
I am 33 year old man, married before 6 years and have regular sex (once a week on average) with my wife and lead a sexually satisfied life. Even though I am satisfied, I have an urge of having sex with every girl I meet in office or see on the road. I haven't have had any kind of sexual intercourse with any lady other than my wife, but then even though I love her very much and vice a versa, there's a lot of sexual thirst or urge to get with other woman. I am not a porn addict also, nor see such kind of postures or pictures.
I tried masturbating to reduce the urge (only when it comes) but there's no progress.
Just to make clear, I haven't involved in any kind of sexual activity with any lady apart from my wife, nor tried to touch or give problem to any lady.
Do I have any problem in my health? It is normal to have this kind of feeling? Will discussing this with my wife help me? Please suggest.

I like to tell you that by nature humans are not monogamous and have polygamous attitude. The human society on other hand promotes monogamous culture which we follow because of our social norms.
It can be said that almost all humans, if culture and society factor is removed, will engage in polygamous activity if set free.
So it can be said that this is not a problem at all and thinking over it is the only issue, which needs control on your behalf. I mean to say stop thinking that your urge to have sex with every lady is abnormal. This is how your brain is wired from childhood.
The discussion with wife depends on your understanding with her and her attitude about such talks. Take a calculated risk to talk with her, if you plan so.
