Feeling a pulse in the back of the head might be there due to dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, hypertension, etc. In case it is a one time symptom, you might ignore it.
If the pulsating feeling is persistent then you need to consult your physician for necessary investigations to detect the cause as it may be caused by arteritis, aneurysm or vascular blockage.
