Question: My pain started in the scrotom and went to the lower abdominum. I have a low grade fever and can't sleep.
Should I go to the emergency room?

1. As the ultrasound of scrotum is normal, need to look for other non-scrotal causes.
2. Obstruction, commonly of the intestines, or possible hernia, requires evaluation.
3. Ultrasound of the abdomen is of foremost importance now.
4. Due to inflammation, low-grade fever is present. Pain is affecting the sleep.

Nothing wrong in getting an ultrasound done. Possibly early period, if evaluated now, serious complications of bowel infarction can be avoided.
