Question: I was just wondering if it is normal to have no morning sickness at all , i'm 9 weeks and I've had no vomiting or nausea. I don't really have any symptoms apart from bad cramps and white and brown discharge everyday

Brief Answer:
It is not a problem at all not to have morning sickness.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Morning sickness is a very subjective symptom - it varies from person to person.
Some women have it right until the very end, some do not have it at all ( you happen to be one of those lucky ones ) and most have it in varying degrees in the first trimester.
Excessive discharge is also common in pregnancy, but the cramps should not be very bad.
Mild pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen and pelvis area is also fine, but bad cramps occurring very frequently are not normal.
Please discuss that with your obstetrician next time.
However, in general, if your internal exam, and ultrasound scan are fine - then there is nothing to worry about.
Do not worry about the morning sickness bit - it is good if you do not have it.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
