Question: I am 53 years old. I last had a period 6 months ago. I had unprotected intercourse. I as re cently diagnosed with diabetes. Is it safe to take plan b.

Moreover you are reaching menopause probably which is the reason for no periods since 6 months. You won't get pregnant even if you don't take plan B.
