Question: Hi my son is 3 months old , I started giving him lactogen from last 3 days but he is not liking it, my dr has advised me to give him amul toned milk

Let me emphasize on the fact that breast milk is the best possible feed for a baby and there can be no alternatives for the same. Most formula feeds are based on cow milk and hence are difficult to digest. Needless to say, if the child does not like it, it is not really his fault. He wants the better stuff i.e. breast milk. Breast milk is produced on demand of the baby. If the baby is hungry, the baby sucks more and more breast milk is produced. So, you need not introduce Lactogen in apprehension that the child is not getting adequate feeds unless the urinary frequency gets reduced. I would not speak in favor of Amul toned milk as well.
