Read your query and understand your concern as you have tongue injury during crown placement dont be worried so much see what happened is wound healing depends on some factors like Age of patient , Vascularity at site of injury , stress , caring of wound , Habit like (Smoking , chewing tobacco) .
For this I will suggest you to do some remedies at home :
- Apply ointment on tongue like Triamicinolone acetonide paste or Mucopain two -three times daily .
- Do warm saline rinses 3 -4 times daily .
- You can take Multivitamin tablets like A to Z or Zevit by consulting with local doctor .
-Dont take stress and Do not smoke . Smoking delays wound healing so avoid smoking until wound heal completly . Quit your smoking habit as it is bad for your health .
-Take Soft diet and try your tongue do not touch your teeth also .
