Is Intercourse Every Second Day Advisable For Conception?
Question: I posted a question previously and dont feel the reaponse given answered it. Is daily or ever 2nd day intercourse best for conception? Online advice varies!

Thank you. I am currently day 16 of cycle. My cycle is isually 30/31 days long. If i had sex day 15,16 and 17, would that be a fertile time? LH surge tests nehative but only tested yesterday and today as they had not yet arrived in post. Is it likely i am too late in cycle to detect surge? Thank you

If you have day 30/31 day cycles , the probable dates of ovulation can be around day 16 to day 18. The fertile time for intercourse will be day 15 to day 19 of cycle as the ova once released remain alive for 24 hours.
You probably are not too late in cycle to detect LH surge. You should be seeing LH surge today or tomorrow.
Have you seen any change in vaginal discharge. It becomes clear, stretchy and slippery around the time of ovulation.

If there has been no LH surge yet then there are three possibilities.
1. May be LH surge occurred early in this cycle. this is unlikely considering that you have regular cycles of 30/31 days.
