Brief Answer:
We need more information to determine this!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

Am impressed with the level of physical fitness you have achieved and maintain. Congratulations. Your blood pressure is above the expected treatment goal and probably the reason for Exforge. This is no terrible drug and am afraid the possible side effects are getting the better of you. Please, possible side effects are rare and several patients never experience them. Knowing them shouldn't create a phobia towards taking any medication but rather make you more confident in taking the drug and looking after yourself. Your risk for another heart attack based on this information is very low. However, the best approach would be to evaluate the framingham risk score which predicts the 10years probability of having a heart attack. This requires more information on your lipid levels that I don't have. I will encourage you to visit this page and play around by answering the questions and you would get an answer to your question. http://cvdrisk.nhlbi.nih.gov/

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
