Question: Hi Doctor, Is dilatation of pelvicalyceal system with pelvis with calyceal separation in fetus with empty blader serious concern?

Generally intrauterine dilatation of pelvicalyceal system in kidney is a temporary finding.If it is seen in early weeks of gestation then there is possibility of improvement.It generally improves with fetal maturity.
This condition only need watchful observation.
It is important to know gestational age and whether findings is related to both kidneys.

I am really thankful for your guidance, as per the USG scan report right renal shows dilatation of 8 mm with calyceal separation of 4mm and left renal shows 4 mm.
