Is Delayed Menstruation A Sign Of Pregnancy?

Question: 26 days since my 3rd IUI. No period till date (was expected around 12th Oct). In the last 2 weeks have faced sporadic stomach pain, sometimes dull and sometimes like a pulling sensation. Have also had mild spotting 10 days back. Experienced period like cramps also occasionally and extreme fatigue everyday. I have also been facing back pain since last 2 weeks which I have not experienced before. Yesterday I lifted some heavy objects. Since then have had a sharp pulling pain in my stomach, worsens on sleeping and on waking up slowly eases out. Haven't taken a pregnancy test yet. Could I be pregnant and is there something to worry about.

1) It is very difficult to say if you are pregnant without doing test. Please do pregnancy test at home using home pregnancy test kit available in any medical shop near your house.

2) If pregnancy test comes negative means that spotting you had 10 days back was your periods only.

3) If pregnancy test is positive you need to get an ultrasound scan done immediately to check baby well being.

4) Please let me know the home pregnancy test results immediately so that I can advice you further.

Tomorrow I suggest you get an ultrasound scan done to confirm presence of heart beat in the baby. Start on folic acid tablets .
