I can understand your emotions. Your son is diagnosed as having schizophrenia. Consulted a psychiatrist and he prescribed Oleanz. You are worried about your sons future.

Oleanz is an anti-psychotic drug, which antagonizes dopamine in the brain. This action will cause reduction in psychotic symptoms in patients with schizophrenia. This medicine is very much effective in many types of schizophrenia.

I hope you know about schizophrenia. There are four types. Paranoid, Catatonic, disorganized and catatonic.

I hope your psychiatrist did tell you which type of schizophrenia your son is suffering from. I also hope that you started the treatment 'at the earliest'.
